Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly awaited wild action entertainer ‘Animal’ has created a sensation with its promotional content. The trailer released just like this has increased the expectations of the movie. In ‘Animal’, Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol are playing other key roles. The film is prestigiously produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar T-Series, Pranai Reddy Vanga Bhadrakali Pictures. The film is going to have a grand release on December 1 in 5 languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. In this context, the film unit organized a grand press meet in Hyderabad.
Ranbir Kapoor said in the press meet.. Telugu film industry is very special for me. When I came to my first film, I gave my first autograph in Hyderabad. Here, the love shown by the audience towards the movies is amazing. I want to be a boy of Telugu states. I want you to adopt me (laughs). I played a very unique role in this film. My character is very intense. I will be seen in the role of a son who has immense love for his father. Also, I am very much in love with my wife Gitanjali’s character in this film. Animals are unpredictable. My role in this is of that nature. Animal’s story and characters connect with everyone. We made this film with a lot of hard work. Everyone must watch Animal on December 1.”
Anil Kapoor said.. My first film Vamsavriksam was directed by The Great Bapu. My foundation is in South industry. I learned everything here. Now I am happy that Animal is releasing as my second Telugu film. When Sandeep told me this story, I agreed without a second thought. Sandeep has written this story brilliantly. Ranbir Kapoor How was your childhood relationship with your father? Did it help to make this character?
-I lost my father a few years ago. My father was very busy with his work. Although there were many occasions when I spent fun time with him as a child, I wish I had more. Sandeep has shot the animal story in a very natural way that gives a great cinematic experience. All the audience will definitely connect with the story and characters.
Sandeep garu.. How is it possible for you to create such distinctive characters?
-I can’t say how it is possible. But it has to be new to attract the attention of the audience. Father and son stories have always existed. If you want to show novelty in it, you have to go deeper and grasp a new concept. We made such an attempt in Animal. The main theme of this story is how far a son can go for his father.
Dil Raju Garu.. How do we have animal ticket rates?
– We have already opened advance booking. gave a tremendous response. As with all movies, the price is reasonable.
Sandeep, you have worked with Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, how did you feel about acting?
Remade with Shahid Kapoor. No comparison should be made with it. Ranbir is amazing. If he is not a year younger than me, he should have planted his legs for the performance he gave. It was fun working with him. No one else has the patience that Ranbir has.
How does it feel to release Bhushan’s Animal in Telugu?
– I did Kabir Singh with Sandeep. I felt very connected when I told the story of the animal. Father-son bond binds all. The scenes seen in this are new and never seen before.
Anil Kapoor, how did it feel to play the role of a father in this film?
The father-daughter relationship is very unique in this. Usually after the father reaches a certain level, the son wants to follow in his footsteps. But even though the son has great love for his father, he wants to follow his own path. In that conflict there was a great showing of it.
Sandeep, Ranbir has a soft image, how did it feel to do an action film with Atna?
Ranbir has been tagged as soft but he is not soft (laughs).
How did you feel when Bobby Deol said the role of Sandeep?
I did an amazing role in Animal. Roles like this come once in a lifetime. Sandeep inspires a lot. It is because of him that all the characters on the screen have become so wonderful.
Do you think Dil Raju hit the jackpot with an animal?
I miss Arjun Reddy. Since then I have been trying for Sandeep’s film. Thanks to Bhushan. He gave me a birthday present. They believed and put this film in our hands. I believe Telugu will definitely create wonders. After watching the trailer, it was even more doubly so. This movie will have a grand release in Telugu.
At what level do Pranay think the animal will be?
The movie turned out amazingly. The movie will be a hit. But the audience decides how far it goes. Surely the movie will create wonders at the box office.
