Director Tharun Bhascker of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame has also been an actor. His next acting venture as a leading man will be directed by newcomer Vamsi Reddy Dongapati.
Producers Venu Udugula and Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy are planning to commence the shoot of the untitled rural comedy drama in October this year. For starters, Udugula himself is a director, known for ‘Virata Parvam’.
The small-scale film, produced jointly by Arrow Cinemas and Dolamukhi Subhultron Films, will feature a whole set of new artists with no image. A casting call has also been given.
The ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ director will play a young man named Srinivas Goud who plans to divorce his wife.
Last year, Tharun Bhascker directed the crime comedy caper ‘Keedaa Cola’, which starred Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Rag Mayur, Brahmanandam and himself.
