Director Puri Jagannadh is gearing up for his next outing, Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road, which marks his first collaboration with versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi. The film has already created curiosity with its posters, teaser, and Tabu’s introduction glimpse, where she was seen in a powerful police officer role.

On the occasion of Puri Jagannadh’s birthday, the makers released a new glimpse introducing Zareena Wahab’s character Zubeidaa. The emotional video gives a glimpse into the difficult life of people forced into begging and adds a sensitive human angle to the film.
In the glimpse, Zubeidaa explains to her son how she ended up begging after going to a railway station. The sequence then shifts focus to the harsh realities faced by beggars, presenting their struggles and emotions in a grounded manner.
Zareena Wahab brings authenticity and emotional depth to the character, making the introduction impactful. Vijay Sethupathi also makes an appearance in the glimpse, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.
Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Connects, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures, the movie stars Samyuktha as the female lead. The ensemble cast also includes Duniya Vijay, Brahmaji, and VTV Ganesh, among others.
With its intriguing characters and emotional backdrop, Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road is generating interest ahead of its release. The makers are expected to announce the release date soon.
