Legendary actor Nana Patekar is no more. The veteran star reportedly passed away on Thursday after suffering a severe cardiac arrest at his residence in Goa. His sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the Indian film industry, with fans and celebrities mourning the loss of one of the country’s most respected performers.

According to reports, Nana Patekar was found unconscious at his home and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors reportedly continued efforts to revive him for nearly 45 minutes, but the veteran actor could not be saved. He was declared dead at around 5:20 AM.

Dr. Shekhar Salkar, Chief of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, reportedly confirmed that Nana Patekar could not be revived despite continuous CPR. A medico-legal case has also been registered, and a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted as part of the formal procedures.

Nana Patekar had a remarkable career spanning several decades in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Known for his intense screen presence and powerful acting, he delivered memorable performances in films such as Parinda, Krantiveer, Ab Tak Chhappan and Welcome. His distinctive dialogue delivery and ability to portray emotionally complex characters earned him a special place in Indian cinema.
