The much-awaited Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is getting closer to its grand theatrical release, and the makers have now kicked off the promotional campaign with the unveiling of the first character poster. The mythological epic is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on November 6, 2026.
The character poster campaign has begun with veteran actor Arun Govil portraying King Dashrath. His first look from the film has now been unveiled, marking the beginning of what is expected to be a series of character reveals in the coming days. With the film just a month away from its theatrical release, the makers are steadily building anticipation around the ambitious project.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles. The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Ravi Dubey and others in prominent roles.
Produced by Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios and Yash of Monster Mind Creations, the film is mounted on a massive budget and is being positioned as one of the biggest Indian mythological spectacles. Sony Pictures Entertainment has come on board for the film’s distribution.
The musical score is another major attraction, with A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer composing the soundtrack. With the character poster campaign now underway, fans can expect the makers to reveal more key characters as the release date approaches.
