The much awaited prequel to DUNE universe re-created by Denis Villeneuve’s second teaser has been released on Thursday. Bollywood actress Tabu’s glimpse can be seen playing Sister Francesca.
The series is set 10,000 years before the timeline we have seen in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. The movie series is an adaptation of Brian Herbert’s novel titled of the same name. This HBO Original series is also an adaptation of the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Herbert and Kevin J Anderson.
Tabu might probably be the only major Indian actor playing a crucial role in the HBO’s series. Hollywood is not new to Tabu. Previously, Tabu played major roles in international movies and series. Like, A Suitable Boy, Life of Pi, The Namesake.
The series will premiere in November. Since, it is a HBO Original series, it might air on JioCinema.
