An online review of ‘Swag’ was scathing. The movie website in question called ‘Swag’ one of the worst films ever. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, speaking to the media, lost his cool hours after the release of the Sree Vishnu-starrer.
“I don’t know what to call him (the US-based reviewer). He is a buffoon, a loafer. He revealed the main plot twist pertianing to ‘Swag’ in his review even before the first screening of ‘Swag’ hadn’t completed in India,” Vishwa Prasad said.
But Vishwa Prasad, who is currently also producing Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’, might be over-reacting. The so-called ‘twist’ is not a twist at all. It is just a part of the gender spectrum represented by Sree Vishnu’s multiple characters. In fact, this detail was revealed by an exclusive Tollywood media report months ago.
Negative movie reviews trigger filmmakers and it is quite natural. A lot of positive movie reviews give away too many spoilers (especially those done by YouTubers) and those reviews never anger these filmmakers.
