Suriya’s 44th movie will be shot extensively in the Andaman Islands this month. Star director Karthik Subbaraj is wielding the megaphone. Pooja Hegde is the heroine of this ambitious film.
A new video clip featuring Suriya has been released, showing him with a serious expression gazing out at the sea. The caption accompanying the clip reads “Love, Laughter, and War,” hinting at a layered story. The director, known for his work on the films ‘Jigarthanda’ and ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’, appears to be crafting a grand narrative with intense action sequences.
Santhosh Narayanan and Shreyaas Krishna of ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Mahaan’ (Tamil) fame are the film’s music director and cinematographer, respectively. Joju George of Malayalam movie ‘Iratta’ fame, Jayaram and Karunakaran have important roles.
Pooja Hegde reportedly has a significant role in the upcoming film. Following the box office disappointment of her sophomore Tamil movie ‘Beast’, she appears to have chosen this project after rejecting multiple Kollywood offers.
