Suriya's 44th film wraps up shoot

Kollywood actor Suriya’s 44th film has officially wrapped up its shoot. The actor shared his gratitude on social media, mentioning the positive experience and the strong bond he formed with the cast and crew, led by director Karthik Subbaraj.

“A wholesome, happy shoot got done across several locations… Lots of memories with the super talented cast & crew… I made a brother for life @karthiksubbaraj thank you & our team for making #Suriya44 a memorable experience. #ShootWrap,” Suriya wrote on his Twitter account.

The director of the film is known for his critically acclaimed films like ‘Pizza’, ‘Jigarthanda’ and ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’. Suriya 44 will enjoy greater buzz among fans as its release approaches. Pooja Hegde is associated with the film, while Santhosh Narayanan of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ fame is its music director.

Suriya’s next theatrical release is ‘Kanguva’. The film will grace the silver screens on November 14th this year in multiple languages. The period mythical war drama is directed by Siva and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Suriya’s ‘Karna’ is currently in the pre-production phase. Bollywood filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra of ‘Rang De Basanti’ fame is its helmer. The film will also feature Janhvi Kapoor.
