Suriya’s Kanguva and Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan were slated for the release of October 10th. However, Suriya announced that he is postponing Kanguva as a respect to Rajinikanth.
Suriya announced this in an audio launch of his brother, Karthi’s recent movie Meiyazhagan. This movie is being directed by 96 fame C Prem Kumar. Aravind Swamy also playing an important role along side of Karthi in Meiyazhagan.
When was Suriya seen on the Big Screen?
Kanguva’s release is long overdue. Suriya was last celebrated seen on the big screen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram as Rolex. But, it was only for a duration of not more than 6 minutes. Etharkkum Thunindhavan releases in 2022 under-performed. And, The last two releases in which suriya acted a main lead were direct OTT releases. They were Jai Bheem and Soorarai Pottru. So, the fans are eager to see Suriya on Big Screen in a successful film.
