Super Star Mahesh Babu, in collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas and Haarika & Hassine Creations, has unveiled the highly anticipated song “Kurchi Madathapetti” from the upcoming film Guntur Kaaram.
Haarika & Hassine Creations, a prominent production house, is crafting “Guntur Kaaram,” where Super Star Mahesh Babu and the eloquent wordsmith, Trivikram Srinivas, join forces for the third time. Their previous collaborations include classical films like Athadu and Khaleja, setting the bar high for expectations.
The film has already introduced two songs, “Dum Masala” and “Hey Baby,” along with a teaser revealing Mahesh Babu’s massy character, Ramana. The team anticipates a grand cinematic experience for the Sankranti festival, promising a global sensation.
Renowned composer SS Thaman has created the film’s music, with “Dum Masala” gaining instant popularity and “Hey Baby” catching momentum on social media through various reels and shorts.
Now, the team has released the third single, a high-voltage mass number, “Kurchi Madathapetti,” to add an extra dose of energy to New Year celebrations.
The song features energetic beats and folklore-style lyrics reminiscent of rural traditions. Notably, the lyrics are penned by “Saraswatiputra” Ramajogayya Sastry, evoking memories of classic mass films from the 80s with phrases like “Rajamundry Raaga Manjari… Maayamma Peru telvanollu leru Mestiri” and “Thooniga Nadumulona Thootaletti… Thupaki pelchinave thingari chitti… Magajaathinatta Madathapetti.”
This song can be seen as a tribute to the legendary actor Krishna, who became the Masses’ favorite with his energetic songs. Super Star Mahesh Babu and the Guntur Kaaram team aim to continue that legacy.
Actress Sreeleela takes on the role of the female lead, and her dynamic dance moves with Mahesh Babu promise an exhilarating theatrical experience.
Meenakshi Chaudhary, playing another pivotal role, contributes to the film’s ensemble cast, which includes Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and others.
The film’s cinematography is handled by the acclaimed Manoj Paramahamsa, with A.S. Prakash in charge of Production Design and National Award-winning editor Nivin Nooli overseeing the editing process.
Having recently wrapped up shooting, the Guntur Kaaram team is gearing up for a worldwide release on January 12th, bringing in the New Year with a bang.
