Zombie Reddy 2 is officially in the works, and it comes with exciting updates. Suparn Verma, director of Netflix’s Rana Naidu, is reportedly set to make his Telugu directorial debut with this highly anticipated sequel. The film will star Teja Sajja in the lead role, with Prashanth Varma serving as the scriptwriter and showrunner.
The movie will be produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, taking over from the previously planned Bollywood studio. The official announcement will come with a special video when the time is right.
Suparn Verma to Direct Zombie Reddy 2
After the success of Zombie Reddy, released during the COVID-19 pandemic, fans have been waiting for a sequel. The first film, directed by Prashanth Varma, gained immense popularity, especially among children. However, Prashanth Varma will not direct the second installment. Instead, he will provide the script and oversee the project as a showrunner.
Suparn Verma, known for his work on Rana Naidu, is stepping into Tollywood for the first time with Zombie Reddy 2. He is currently in Hyderabad to discuss the project with the lead actor and the producer.
Sithara Entertainments to Produce the Film
Initially, a Bollywood studio was set to bankroll the film. However, the production has now shifted to Sithara Entertainments, one of Tollywood’s biggest banners. Producer Naga Vamsi is taking charge of the project, ensuring a large-scale production.
Teja Sajja to Earn a Huge Paycheck
Teja Sajja, who became a Pan-India star with Hanu-Man, is set to return as the lead. The sequel craze in Tollywood is at an all-time high, and with Zombie Reddy 2 being a highly anticipated project, Teja is expected to receive a big paycheck this time.
Currently, Teja is busy shooting for his upcoming film, Mirai, which is being filmed in Nepal. Once he wraps up that project, Zombie Reddy 2 will go into production.
