Producer Dil Raju, gracing the first look launch event of the upcoming crime comedy thriller directed by writer Mohan, expressed high expectations for the film titled ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’. Starring the talented Vennela Kishore and Ananya Nagalla in lead roles, the movie is being produced by Vennapusa Ramana Reddy under the banner of Sri Ganapathi Cinemas and presented by Lasya Reddy.
Speaking at the event, Dil Raju commended the intriguing title, stating, “The title ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’ is very interesting. It’s quite rare to launch a title with 24 directors, and the movie exudes a fresh vibe. I believe it will provide good entertainment and wish the film a big success.”
Ananya Nagella, expressing her joy at the first look launch, remarked, “Launching the first look of our film in the midst of all these people is a great moment. ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’ is like a puzzle, and there’s anticipation about what will unfold. Director Mohan has brilliantly filled in that puzzle. The film boasts excellent production values, and we had a lot of fun making it. I’m confident that the film will thoroughly entertain the audience.”
Director and writer Mohan shared insights about the film, stating, “Thanks to all 24 directors and Dil Raju for their blessings. Vennela Kishore portrays the lead role of Sherlock Holmes in this film. The title is derived from three characters: Sher, meaning Sharmilamma (mother); Lok, meaning Lokanadham (father); Hom, meaning Om Prakash. Set against a rural, retro backdrop, the movie combines humor and thrill. I express my gratitude to producer Ramana Reddy and the supportive executive producer Rajesh Ram Bala. Vennela Kishore has done an outstanding job, and this is just the beginning. We have more surprises in store. Thank you to everyone.”

The ensemble cast also includes Anish Kurivilla, Ravi Teja Mahadasyam, Shea Gautham, Naga Mahesh, Bhadram, Kalakeya Prabhakar, Prabhavathi, and Muralidhar Goud in pivotal roles. The film boasts a talented technical team, with music by Sunil Kashyap, lyrics by Ramajogaiah Shastri and Kasarla Shyam, cinematography by Mallikarjun N DVP, editing by Avinash Gurlinka, and art direction by Suresh Bimagani.
