The movie, starring Bigg Boss Telugu 5 title winner VJ Sunny and budding heroine Hrithika Srinivas, is set for a theatrical release.The producers shed light on their vision, the scale of the movie’s release, and the creative process behind this entertaining comedy.

Ravi Polishetty, an experienced individual in IT and real estate in the US, emphasized the importance of common sense in business, including the film industry. He discussed his background in handling creative projects and how the success of ‘Vitamin She’ on Amazon Prime Video during the pandemic boosted his confidence. The decision to produce ‘Sound Party’ stemmed from a desire to bring healthy comedies back to the forefront in the era dominated by thrillers on OTT platforms.

The choice of VJ Sunny as the lead was influenced by director Sanjay Sheri’s recommendation and the belief that Sunny’s performance in the web series ‘ATM’ showcased his acting prowess. The producers highlighted the importance of people management, cost-cutting, and timely planning in the film industry. Despite facing budgetary adjustments during the shoot, Ravi Polishetty expressed satisfaction in providing livelihood opportunities through the project.

‘Sound Party’ explores a unique comedic concept, where both the father and son characters are portrayed as dimwits. Ravi Polishetty discussed the involvement of Bitcoins in the storyline, a first in Telugu cinema, and shared that he personally contributed to this creative aspect. The film is a self-release on 150 screens in the US, with Amazon Prime Video acquiring digital streaming rights.

Mahendra Gajendra, trusting Ravi Polishetty’s judgment, joined the project as a partner and volunteered to become a producer after watching the rough cut of ‘Sound Party.’ He emphasized the title’s relevance, referring to rich people as a “sound party,” and expressed confidence in the film’s content speaking for itself. Mahendra Gajendra sees the film as a low-risk venture, expecting positive word of mouth to drive its success.
