Sarvepalli Sisters to Bring a Divine Musical Touch to Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2

The much-awaited Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Akhanda 2, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on December 5, 2025. Touted as one of the most anticipated pan-Indian films of the year, the sequel promises to deliver even more power, emotion, and grandeur than its predecessor.

In an exciting update, the makers have announced that the renowned Sarvepalli Sisters have joined the project to lend a divine musical essence to the film’s soundtrack. This collaboration is expected to elevate the spiritual and energetic tone that the Akhanda franchise is celebrated for.

Earlier, music director Thaman S revealed that Pandit Shravan Mishra and Pandit Atul Mishra would be rendering Sanskrit slokas for key portions of the soundtrack, adding a layer of traditional depth to the album.

The recently unveiled teaser has already generated massive buzz among fans, showcasing Balakrishna in his iconic, intense avatar. Viewers are now eagerly awaiting the release of the first single, which is expected to be a musical highlight.

The film features Samyuktha as the female lead, while Aadhi Pinisetty plays the antagonist. Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, Akhanda 2 is shaping up to be a grand spiritual-action spectacle, carrying forward the legacy of one of Balakrishna’s most celebrated roles.
