Sandeep Reddy Vanga Shares Major Update on Animal Park

Animal, headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, stands tall as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. The high-octane action drama, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stormed the global box office with collections crossing ₹900 crore worldwide. It is already well known that the film will have a sequel titled Animal Park.

As Animal gears up for its release in Japan, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been actively promoting the film. During a recent virtual press conference, the filmmaker dropped a significant update about the much-awaited sequel. Vanga revealed that the shooting of Animal Park is planned to commence in mid-2027. However, he clarified that the schedule depends on the completion of his current directorial venture, Spirit, starring Prabhas.

Addressing the growing curiosity among fans, Vanga explained the concept behind the sequel and its title. According to a report by Mid-Day, the director said during a Zoom media interaction,
“Animal Park will start once I finish my current film (Spirit). There will be more animals in the story because Aziz is another animal. Keeping that in mind, it becomes a war between two brothers who look alike, and that’s why I felt Animal Park was the right title. We are planning to begin the shoot in mid-2027.”

With this update, anticipation around Animal Park has only intensified, as fans eagerly await the next explosive chapter in the Animal universe.
