Salman Khan to Build Giant ₹10,000-Crore Film Hub in Telangana

Riding high on the success of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, where sectors like tech, fashion, and investment made a powerful showing, the spotlight is now shifting toward the entertainment world. And right at the center of this momentum is Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has unveiled an ambitious ₹10,000-crore Film Studio project in Telangana.

Spread across 500 acres, the upcoming studio is being positioned as one of India’s largest and most advanced filmmaking ecosystems. Beyond film and OTT production spaces, the facility will house state-of-the-art VFX studios, talent development academies, luxury residences, hotels, high-street retail zones, a golf course, racecourse, nature trails, and dedicated shooting ranges. The mega project is expected to generate thousands of jobs and significantly boost tourism in the region.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hailed the announcement as a major milestone for the state and assured full government support. The summit itself witnessed MoUs worth a staggering ₹2.43 lakh crore, cementing Telangana’s growing reputation as a preferred destination for global and domestic investors.

Adding to the excitement, actor Ajay Devgn has also partnered with the Telangana government to co-develop a world-class Film City in Hyderabad. With both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn investing in large-scale entertainment infrastructure, Telangana is rapidly emerging as a major hub for India’s film and creative industries.
