As nationwide protests over the alleged NEET paper leak continue to dominate headlines, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has become one of the first mainstream film stars to publicly react to the issue. While many leading actors and cricketers have remained silent, Salman chose to share his views, expressing solidarity with students and their families.
In a heartfelt statement, Salman said he was saddened to see a peaceful movement turn violent. He extended his support to the students who were injured during the protests and their families, emphasizing that the paper leak controversy is a matter of serious concern.
“Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, with the support of their parents,” Salman wrote.
“Don’t Politicize the Students’ Movement”
Salman also urged that the protests should not be used for political gains. According to him, the movement belongs to the students, who are fighting for a fair and transparent education system.
He stated that the credit for raising the issue should go entirely to the students and expressed confidence that the government would take the necessary steps to strengthen the country’s education system.
“This issue is between the students and the educational system. It should not be hijacked politically. The credit should only go to the students of our country. I am sure the government will support them and make the educational system stronger,” he added.
