The film is ambitiously produced by the famous producer Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment and is going to release on January 13. In this context, director Shailesh Kolana shared the features of the film in a press conference.

How Saindhav project became a star?

– After the release of ‘Hit 2’, producer Venkat told me to meet Venkatesh. I met Venkatesh. He congratulated the film for making it well. When we first met, we didn’t talk about the actual movie. People who joke about general life. A good bond was formed between us in two or three meetings. Both of them thought that it would be good to make a film together later. Then I told the idea of Saindhav in the stories I have. He liked it very much. He said, ‘This seems to be my 75th film’. Later I developed the idea and made it into a full-fledged script. After hearing the whole story, he gave a hug and said, ‘We are doing this’. After adding his experience and feedback and making the script even better, we started shooting.

Did you get two wins with a hit? Is there any pressure to hit a hat-trick with this?

I always take pressure. Honestly, my focus is on making films. My philosophy is to enjoy the journey and not the thrills. I believe that if a film is made honestly by following a process, then the film will definitely be successful. Saindhav also did it with the same passion.

Is this Venkatesh’s 75th film? Is there any pressure?

No at first. It has been the last week. While watching Venkatesh’s videos at events, have we made a film with a hero who has such a wonderful journey? The tension comes. Actually Venkatesh didn’t bring this pressure to us. They got along with us so well. We are very confident about the film. Venkatesh’s 75th film is what it should be. Let’s make the film so that fans and audience will like it.

What kind of inputs did Venkatesh give regarding the script?

So far I have done investigative thrillers. This is the first time to do a story with such emotional depth. Venkatesh gave many excellent suggestions and suggestions in emotional scenes. His advice on dealing with emotional scenes was very helpful.

Arya, Andrea, Ruhani is the reason for taking such popular cast?

Each character communicates something. That communication should reach a wider audience. People suffering from a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy do not have a strong voice in their fight. We don’t know much about the parents and their struggle, who are seeking an injection of Rs.17 crores. To bring such awareness, actors who communicate widely are needed, with such a great intention, actors like Arya, Andrea and Ruhani Sharma have become a part of the story. Appears in very important cameo roles. However, ‘Spinal Muscular Atrophy’ is not said meaningfully. We took cinematic liberty and said it was cinematic. How to solve this problem? Did not go into it. The audience who has seen the film will come to an idea. This is a very organically written story. Connects everyone. It impressed the audience with its larger than life elements.

It seems to have mostly night sequences?

-Yes. About seventy percent of this story takes place at night. I told this to Venkatesh earlier. First.. Venkatesh Garu, Papa, Shraddha Srinath’s characters are introduced interestingly and the story starts very comfortably. Fifteen minutes later the audience can’t turn their heads. It’s so exciting.

It seems that Venkatesh has become a fan during this journey?

I said that in the prerelease event. I was born in Madras. I watched Kamal Haasan’s movies as a child. His work left an impression on me. I decided to enter films after watching Kamal Haasan’s film Heram. After starting to work with Venkatesh, watching his close-ups and acting… felt amazing. When I watched Venkatesh’s films as a child, I felt that he also had an influence on me. That’s why I said that I became a fan of Venkatesh.

Whose decision to take Nawazuddin?

Mine, Venkatesh said that idea would work out well. Later we approached the producer Venkat. Nawazuddin’s role in this is very unique. He has not done such a role till now. He is not interested in doing big South films. His reason is that dubbing is not done with him. In this I got lucky to play a Telugu-speaking character. His dubbing for this role is correct. He liked it. The dubbing was done with great interest.

Tell us about the ‘Indraprastha’ city in Saindhav.

Drug cartels, gun business..the story takes place on such a large scale. This story should take place on the beach. It is unbelievable that such big activities happen in Vizag. If placed in Mumbai, nativity will be lost. That’s why we created a fictional town called ‘Indraprastha’.

Saindhav looks like a lot of costly movies.. About the collaboration of the producer?

Producer Venkat has been very clear from the beginning. ‘I like Venkatesh. He should be given a great film,” said Venkat earlier. Everything is provided. The film was made without any compromise.

Will there be Saindhav 2?

Hit 1 was liked by the audience so we made Hit 2. If the audience likes Saindhav, I am confident that part 2 will be made. This is a story that is likely to be part 2. Venkatesh and I will do Saindhav 2 together if the audience wants it.

Can we expect a love story from you?

I have to do it too. I have a good love story. I wrote a love story based on the events that happened in my life. I will definitely do this story.

What about Hit 3?

Hit 3 is being written. But our idea is that there should be a marination period for the movies coming in that franchise. Hit3 is expected to take a year and a half.
