Rowdy Janardhana Glimpse Set for December 22

Vijay Deverakonda is presently working on a raw, rustic rural action entertainer tentatively titled Rowdy Janardhana. The film is being directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Launched in October, the project moved swiftly into regular shooting, with the team completing major portions of the film in quick schedules.

While the makers are yet to officially lock and announce the final title, they are now gearing up to unveil the first promotional material. A special title glimpse, which will also introduce Vijay Deverakonda’s character, is set to be released soon. The title hints at a fierce and intense role, and the film reportedly blends strong action elements with love and romance. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead.

Earlier, reports suggested that the glimpse would be unveiled on December 18 at Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad. However, sources have now confirmed that the glimpse will instead be released on Monday, December 22, at a single-screen theatre in Hyderabad. An official announcement regarding the glimpse date is expected on December 18, coinciding with producer Dil Raju’s birthday.

Despite juggling two projects simultaneously one with director Rahul Sankrityan and the other with Ravi Kiran Kola Vijay Deverakonda is said to be prioritizing Rowdy Janardhana. The film is being positioned as his next immediate theatrical release, with the makers targeting a Dussehra 2026 release.

Given that Vijay’s recent outings have not lived up to expectations, the Rowdy Janardhana glimpse carries significant responsibility. Fans, trade circles, and industry watchers are keen to see whether this first look can generate strong buzz and set the tone for a powerful comeback.
