Release Date Confirmed: NTR-Neel Film to Hit Theatres on June 25, 2026

The makers of the much-awaited film NTRNeel, featuring Jr NTR and directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, have locked in the release date. The action-packed film will arrive in theatres worldwide on June 25, 2026.

Production house Mythri Movie Makers shared the news with fans through a powerful poster on social media. Their caption promised a thrilling experience, stating: “A Massacre by the dynamic duo delivers a notice for a havoc-filled experience. 25 June 2026. You’ll hear the loudest chants! #NTRNeel.”

To build more excitement, the makers plan to release a first-look glimpse on May 20, 2025, which is Jr NTR’s birthday. This teaser will offer fans a sneak peek into the intense action drama, which has been kept secret so far.

Jr NTR also posted the announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) account with a poster and the caption: “See you in cinemas on 25 June 2026 NTRNeel.” A dedicated handle for the movie echoed the message, calling it “the most striking tale ever to erupt from Indian soil.”

Shooting and Schedule

The team officially started filming on April 22, 2025, when Jr NTR joined the sets. Before that, they completed a short four-day shoot in February. The current schedule is taking place in Mangalore and is expected to run until mid-May.

While the makers haven’t revealed the storyline, sources hint that it will be a massive, high-octane action drama meant to leave a strong impression.

Big Collaboration and Huge Expectations

This marks the first-ever collaboration between Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel. The film is being jointly produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju, under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts.

Given Neel’s success with blockbuster action films like KGF and Jr NTR’s dynamic screen presence, fans are expecting a groundbreaking movie. Industry insiders have even nicknamed the film “Dragon”, adding to its mystery
