Rambha’s Comeback Confirmed as Tamil Producer Hints at Film Role

South Indian actress Rambha, a popular star of the 1990s and early 2000s, is set to make a return to the entertainment industry. Best known for her performances in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films, she was a top actress for over two decades. After a long break, recent reports suggest that she is preparing for a comeback, and her fans are excited.

Producer Confirms Film Talks

According to Tamil producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Rambha’s husband, Canadian businessman Indrakumar, recently approached him to discuss a film opportunity for her. Thanu stated that Rambha is financially stable, owning properties worth around Rs 2,000 crore, and her husband is a successful entrepreneur. However, despite her strong financial position, Rambha is eager to return to acting. Thanu assured that if a suitable role arises, he would offer her a film.

TV Comeback Before Silver Screen Return?

While fans are waiting for an official film announcement, Rambha has already returned to television. She is currently a judge on Jodi: Are You Ready? Season 2, a dance reality show airing on Star Vijay. Reports suggest that she replaced actress Meena in the show, marking her first major entertainment industry appearance in years.

A Star Across Multiple Languages

Rambha debuted in Malayalam cinema with Sargam (1992) before making her Telugu debut with Aa Okkati Adakku the same year. She went on to work with top stars across various industries, appearing in over 100 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Bhojpuri, and even English. Some of her most notable Malayalam films include Chronic Bachelor, Mayilattam, Aanandham, and Kochi Rajavu.

Her Last Film and Possible Telugu Comeback

Rambha was last seen in the 2010 Tamil film Pen Singam. In Telugu, her final full-length role was in Donga Sachinollu (2008), though she made a cameo in the 2007 hit Yamadonga. Now, rumors suggest that she might be making a Telugu comeback with a top star, though official details are yet to be revealed.
