Ram Charan’s Peddi Reaches Rashtrapati Bhavan for Major Shoot

Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 27, 2026. With the release date drawing closer, the makers have picked up pace and resumed an important shooting schedule in Delhi.

The team had earlier planned to film a few crucial sequences in the national capital, including iconic locations such as Rashtrapati Bhavan and Agrasen ki Baoli. However, the schedule was postponed for several months due to unforeseen circumstances. These Delhi portions are now being filmed over a span of four to five days. Except for the climax sequence and a special song, the rest of the film has already been completed.

Ram Charan, along with the Peddi team, recently arrived in Delhi to wrap up this long-pending schedule. As per reports from Delhi Times, the shoot rescheduled to November after a bomb blast incident near the Red Fort began on Saturday morning near Rashtrapati Bhavan. Although heavy fog caused a delay of nearly three hours, filming resumed later in the morning. The team is also scheduled to shoot key scenes at Agrasen ki Baoli in the evening. Overall, the Delhi schedule is planned across four days.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has chosen real locations to enhance the film’s authenticity, which is rooted in a raw and rustic village backdrop. Shooting at Rashtrapati Bhavan reportedly posed significant challenges, with the team waiting for months to secure the necessary permissions. Their persistence eventually paid off, allowing them to film at the prestigious location without compromise.

Following the completion of the Delhi schedule, the team will move on to film the climax, followed by a special song, after which the entire shoot will be wrapped up. While there were earlier rumours about Kajal Aggarwal appearing in the special song, no official confirmation has been made yet.

Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman.
