Ram Charan Meets PM Modi Upasana’s Special Gift Steals the Spotlight

Tollywood star Ram Charan, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film “Peddi” directed by Buchi Babu Sana, recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The actor was accompanied by his wife, Upasana Konidela, during the visit.

Sharing the news on social media, Ram Charan revealed that he, along with Anil Kamineni, met the Prime Minister to discuss the details of the world’s first-ever Archery Premier League, organized under Kamineni’s leadership. Ram Charan serves as the brand ambassador for the league.

A Gift with Tradition and Meaning

To mark the successful completion of the Archery League’s inaugural season, Ram Charan, Upasana, and Anil Kamineni presented Prime Minister Modi with a specially crafted bow and a souvenir of Lord Venkateswara. Photos from their meeting were shared by Charan on social media and have since gone viral.

Expressing his gratitude, Ram Charan wrote:

“It was an honor to meet our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and share the success of the world’s first Archery Premier League led by Anil Kamineni Garu. Modi Ji’s guidance and passion for sports will help preserve and promote the legacy of archery across the globe.”

He further added

“My congratulations to all the athletes. We hope this beautiful sport continues to grow and attract more people for better physical and mental well-being.”

Reports suggest that Prime Minister Modi congratulated the Archery League team for successfully completing the first season and appreciated their efforts in promoting traditional Indian sports.

Back to Work on Peddi

Even as he remains engaged with the Archery League and other public events, Ram Charan continues to shoot for Peddi without interruption. The film’s production is expected to wrap up soon.

Meanwhile, buzz in the industry suggests that Charan’s next project with director Sukumar might go on floors in February 2026, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

With his meeting with the Prime Minister and Peddi nearing completion, Ram Charan is clearly balancing cinema, social causes, and national recognition once again proving his stature as one of India’s most influential stars.
