Rajinikanth’s Next Film to Be Helmed by Young Director Cibi Chakaravarthi

Superstar Rajinikanth is set to collaborate with Kamal Haasan’s prestigious banner, RaajKamal Films International, for the first time in his illustrious career. The announcement has generated massive buzz, with expectations soaring high for this landmark project.

Tentatively titled #Thalaivar173, the film will be directed by young and promising filmmaker Cibi Chakaravarthi, who previously delivered the ₹100-crore blockbuster Don starring Sivakarthikeyan. Despite having just one film to his credit, Cibi’s impressive debut has earned him the responsibility of helming this high-profile venture, sparking excitement among fans and industry circles alike.

This project marks a historic collaboration between two towering legends of Indian cinema Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan making it one of the most anticipated films in recent times. Elevating the excitement further, chart-topping composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the film’s music, promising a powerful and contemporary soundtrack.

According to the official announcement, the film is set to go on floors soon. While the core cast and key crew members have been finalized, the makers have stated that additional details regarding the supporting cast and technical team will be revealed in the coming months.
