The second song from ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is titled ‘Sooseki’. Filmed on Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and a group of junior artists, this Devi Sri Prasad-composed song will grow on your ears rather slowly.
At first, the song might feel like a rehash of known tunes. Ganesh Acharya’s dance choreography and the sparkling chemistry between the lead pair go a long way in making all the difference. Chandrabose’s lyrics and Shreya Ghoshal’s vocals outdo each other.
There is another element that mustn’t go unnoticed. Director Sukumar hasn’t revealed anything about the actual backdrop of the song. The lyrical video is devoid of the film-related footage.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film has Fahadh Faasil as the main villain. Cinematographer Mireslow Kuba Brozek, production designers S Rama Krishna and N Monica and others are associated with the project. Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh Prathap and others will also be seen.
