It has been rumoured that ‘Pushpa 2’ has been postponed, with about 40 working days of shoot pending to be completed. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings haven’t yet declared the postponement.
However, a significant development today confirms that Allu Arjun’s movie is out of the race. Ram Pothineni’s biggest movie, ‘Double iSmart’, will be released on August 15th, the date locked earlier by ‘Pushpa 2’.
In other words, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is out and ‘Double iSmart’ is in! The information about the postponement of ‘Pushpa 2’ has been conveyed to key distributors within the film industry, prompting the latest decision by Puri to block the date for his own film.
Ram’s movie, directed by Puri Jagannadh, couldn’t have asked for a better release date. August 15th is ideal for a film that wants to maximize its reach in Telugu and Hindi.
