Priyanka Upendra, the spouse of Kannada superstar Upendra, is set to grace the screens once again with an unconventional cinematic venture. The upcoming film, titled ‘Capture,’ is a pioneering experiment in the world of cinema, employing CCTV footage exclusively for its entire duration. Notably, it stands out as the first-ever movie shot with a singular lens. Renowned director Lohit H, known for his innovative perspectives, spearheads this distinctive project.
The collaborative duo of Priyanka Upendra and director Lohit has previously delivered notable films like ‘Mummy’ and ‘Devaki.’ ‘Capture’ marks their third venture together. The film is being produced by Ravi Raj under the banners of Shamika Enterprises and Shree Durga Parameshwari Productions, with Radhika Kumaraswamy presenting the project.
The entire shooting process for ‘Capture’ unfolded in the picturesque landscapes of Goa, spanning a period of 30 days. Presently, the filming phase has concluded, and the project has entered the post-production stage. The producers are gearing up for an imminent release, aiming to unveil the movie to audiences soon.
A recent poster release by Priyanka Upendra has heightened anticipation, suggesting that the film is poised to captivate viewers with its intriguing narrative. Adding to the film’s allure is the inclusion of Manvita Kamat, acclaimed for her role in Shiva Rajkumar’s ‘Tagaru,’ and the introduction of Master Kanishraj as a child actor. Pandikumar serves as the cinematographer, while Ravichandran takes on the role of editor for this groundbreaking cinematic endeavor.
