Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated globe-trotting action-adventure Varanasi continues to generate massive excitement among movie lovers. The ambitious project also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles, making it one of the most awaited Indian films in recent times.
In a recent interview, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared fascinating insights into working with ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The actor praised Rajamouli’s extraordinary dedication and commitment to filmmaking, describing him as one of the hardest-working directors he has ever collaborated with.
Speaking about the shooting experience, Prithviraj revealed that lunch breaks on the sets of Varanasi last only around 20 minutes. He noted that Rajamouli approaches every day on set with the same enthusiasm and passion as a young filmmaker making his debut film.
The Malayalam star further disclosed that Rajamouli is usually the first person to arrive on set and the last one to leave. According to Prithviraj, the director expects everyone to follow the shooting schedule strictly while he himself leads by example, ensuring every aspect of the production is perfectly organized before filming begins.
Prithviraj also emphasized that despite achieving global recognition and delivering several blockbuster films, Rajamouli remains completely focused on his work and is never influenced by his immense reputation. His dedication and hands-on approach continue to inspire everyone working alongside him.
With Rajamouli at the helm and a star-studded cast featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Varanasi is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian cinema.
