Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again showcased his deep spiritual inclination during his visit to Udupi, Karnataka, where he participated in the sacred Bhagavad-Gita recitation ceremony. Known for openly expressing his devotion and cultural values, Modi’s appearance at the event carried a symbolic touch.

The Prime Minister caught everyone’s attention with a unique cap adorned with peacock feathers. The choice of attire is widely seen as a tribute to Lord Krishna, who is often depicted wearing a peacock feather on his crown. Modi’s gesture appeared to reflect the spirit of Sri Krishna, aligning with the essence of the Gita recitation.

Addressing the gathering, Modi emphasized that the teachings of the Bhagavad-Gita hold great relevance even in modern times. He urged people to immerse themselves in its wisdom to rediscover and redefine their inner selves.

Later in the day, Modi is scheduled to attend another significant religious event in Goa, where he will unveil the world’s tallest statue of Prabhu Sriram, standing at an impressive 77 feet. With back-to-back spiritual engagements, the Prime Minister seems to be dedicating the day to cultural and religious devotion.
