Prabhas’ Hanu Shoot 50% Complete, 30 Days Left for Major Action Sequence

The much-awaited collaboration between Prabhas and director Hanu Raghavapudi is moving at a steady pace. The team has completed 50% of the shooting for the period war drama, tentatively titled Fauji. Prabhas has around 30 days of work left, which also includes a massive action sequence. After the actor finishes his portions, the rest of the team will continue with their schedules. The makers aim to finish the entire shoot by the end of 2025.

Bulk Dates Locked for Fauji

Prabhas has dedicated bulk dates to Fauji and plans to wrap up most of the remaining filming in the next two months. The story unfolds in the 1970s and follows a soldier’s journey through war and personal relationships. Director Hanu Raghavapudi also weaves an emotional love story into the plot, promising a mix of action, drama, and romance.

Star Cast and Crew

The film introduces Imanvi Esmail as the heroine. It also features Rahul Ravindran, Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Jayapradha in key roles. Vishal Chandrasekhar composes the music, and Mythri Movie Makers produces this big-budget project. The production team has built massive sets at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, to recreate the period setting.

Release Plans

The makers plan to release Fauji on April 3, 2026, during the Good Friday weekend. They will announce the release date officially soon. Since the film carries a record budget, Hanu Raghavapudi requires extra time for extensive post-production work. The team is pushing to complete the shoot quickly so they can polish the editing, visual effects, and sound design to perfection.

Prabhas’ Busy Schedule

Alongside Fauji, Prabhas is shooting for Raja Saab, a horror comedy directed by Maruthi, which aims for a December 5, 2025 release. After completing Fauji, Prabhas will join the sets of Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Impressed with Hanu Raghavapudi’s work on Fauji, Prabhas has already offered him another project, a love story. However, the two may begin that film later because of Prabhas’ packed schedule.

This update shows that Fauji is shaping up as one of the biggest and most ambitious films in Prabhas’ career, combining intense action, heartfelt emotions, and grand visuals.
