Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, ANR’s son, expressed his heartfelt thanks on social media. ANR’s career spanned over seven decades, during which he appeared in classics like Prem Nagar, Gundamma Katha, Mayabazar, Suvarna Sundari, Devadasu, Vipra Narayana, and Tenali Ramakrishna. In 2011, ANR was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards. His last film, Manam, featured three generations of the Akkineni family, including Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil Akkineni, alongside Amala Akkineni.
