Peddi: Ram Charan’s Sports Drama Crosses 50% Shoot, Targets March 2026 Release

Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi races ahead with more than 50% of its shoot complete. The makers recently wrapped up the energetic introduction song in Mysore and continue editing the film simultaneously to stay on schedule. The team works round the clock to deliver a grand worldwide release on March 27, 2026.

Peddi – A Rustic Sports Action Drama

Director Buchi Babu Sana, who created the blockbuster Uppena, brings Peddi to life as a gripping sports action drama. He sets the story in rural Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s. Ram Charan plays a spirited villager who uses sports to unite his community and defend their pride against a powerful rival.

Stellar Cast and Crew

The film features a stellar cast. Ram Charan leads as Peddi, while Janhvi Kapoor plays his love interest. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Mirzapur fame Divyenndu play crucial supporting roles. Divyenndu reportedly delivers a performance with negative shades. Krithi Shetty joins the cast as Charan’s cousin, adding depth to the family dynamics.
