Power Star Pawan Kalyan has officially kick-started the much-awaited shoot of his film Ustaad Bhagat Singh in Hyderabad, bringing new excitement to his fans. Director Harish Shankar began the film’s fresh schedule at the Aluminium Factory, a popular shooting location in the city. This move marks a key turning point in the film’s progress, especially since Pawan continues to juggle his political and film commitments.

The team started filming this week and already shot scenes with key actors. Pawan Kalyan plans to join the sets on June 12, 2025, and aims to complete a major portion of his scenes during this schedule. Harish Shankar Opts for a New Script

Earlier, reports claimed that the movie would remake Vijay’s Theri. But due to production delays and changing priorities, Harish Shankar decided to write a completely fresh script. While Harish hasn’t officially confirmed this shift, sources suggest that he created a unique and entertaining storyline tailored to highlight Pawan Kalyan’s mass appeal.

Cast, Crew & Other Updates

Sreeleela plays the female lead, and several other notable actors join the cast. Mythri Movie Makers is producing Ustaad Bhagat Singh, continuing their streak of high-quality entertainers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and aims to deliver another powerful soundtrack.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan recently finished shooting key scenes for They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth. After wrapping that schedule, he made a public appearance in Vijayawada, where he inaugurated a new branch of Salon Koniki, which his personal hair stylist owns. He wore a simple blue t-shirt and black shorts, and fans quickly noticed and praised his relaxed and humble style. Photos and videos of his look went viral online.
