Tollywood superstar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan finally returns to the big screen with his long-awaited historical action film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM). He released the film globally on July 24, and audiences have been filling theatres despite the film receiving mixed reviews. The high-budget pan-India film marks his comeback after a two-year gap and has sparked massive buzz.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Launches with Huge Expectations

Director Krish Jagarlamudi crafted this film based on real historical events, telling the story of a heroic rebel who fights against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The filmmakers created grand visuals and a powerful storyline while launching the movie in multiple Indian languages to ensure nationwide reach.

During a recent promotional event, Pawan Kalyan spoke emotionally about his reasons for taking on this project. He recalled the pain he felt during his school days after learning about Aurangzeb’s Jizya tax on Hindus. He said, “I’m happy that I finally addressed my childhood pain in HHVM after all these years.”

Pawan Kalyan Turns Childhood Pain into a Powerful Film

Pawan explained that he didn’t treat Hari Hara Veera Mallu as just another movie but as a personal mission. He said he carried the emotional weight since school when he learned that Hindus had to pay Jizya to follow their religion. Through HHVM, he finally gave voice to that long-held pain.

On social media, he directly conveyed a bold message about the film’s purpose. He wrote that HHVM exposes how historians softened the brutal truth of the Jizya tax. He said, “HHVM boldly unmasks this injustice, exposing the erasure of Hindu suffering and the looting of India’s wealth like the Kohinoor’s theft.” He also emphasized that the movie celebrates Sanatana Dharma and honors the unsung heroes who resisted oppression.

Pawan Balances Political and Film Life: Learns ‘Cine Panchayati’

In a lighter tone, Pawan Kalyan joked that he knows how to handle Panchayati Raj ministry work but recently learned about the “cine panchayati” while managing the film’s release. With this, he highlighted how he balances his political duties and film career.

He also appreciated the unwavering support from producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar (Mythri Movie Makers), and TG Vishwa Prasad (People Media Factory). He thanked them for supporting AM Rathnam, the main producer, during the film’s tough phases.

Heartfelt Thanks to Fans

Pawan ended his speech by expressing deep gratitude to his fans. He thanked them for showing constant love and loyalty during both his political and cinematic journey. He said, “Your support has given me strength through every high and low in my 30-year journey.”
