Orry Didn’t Cooperate in ₹252-Crore Drug Case Investigation, Denied All Involvement: Sources

Bollywood socialite and influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, appeared before the Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Wednesday in connection with the ₹252-crore mephedrone drug haul case. He reached the Ghatkopar ANC office around 1:30 pm and was questioned for nearly seven and a half hours before being allowed to leave in the evening.

According to investigative sources, Orry was uncooperative throughout the questioning. He is said to have repeatedly distanced himself from the case, asserting that he had no role in drug-related activities. Officials claim he told them he does not consume drugs and is unaware of any drug use at the parties he attends.

Sources further revealed that Orry insisted he attends numerous parties across India and abroad, making it difficult for him to recall specific details about attendees or incidents at those gatherings. Despite prolonged questioning, officials reportedly found discrepancies in some of his responses, leading them to believe that he was withholding information.

The investigation into the massive drug haul is ongoing, and more individuals are expected to be questioned in the coming days.
