OG: Priyanka Mohan Promises Emotional Family Drama Beyond Action

The much-awaited Pawan Kalyan starrer OG is almost here, and excitement has reached its peak. The Telangana government granted permission for special premiere shows on 24 September, a day ahead of the global release. Organizers fixed ticket prices for this premiere at Rs 800. Andhra Pradesh will run its first shows at 1 AM on 25 September, with tickets priced at Rs 1000.

The state governments also approved a hike in ticket rates for the first ten days. From 25 September to 4 October, single-screen tickets will cost an average of Rs 277, and multiplex tickets will go up to Rs 445.

Priyanka Mohan Opens Up About Her Role in OG

Lead actress Priyanka Arul Mohan recently spoke about her experience in OG and her character Kanmani. She said she spent almost two and a half years on this project and called it one of the most memorable experiences of her career. “OG isn’t just about action. It also has strong family drama and a solid story with emotional depth,” she said. Priyanka described Kanmani as a sweet, innocent girl from the 1980s-1990s who plays a crucial role in transforming Gambheera, the character played by Pawan Kalyan.

Priyanka called it a privilege to share screen space with Pawan Kalyan and praised him as a true gentleman who treats everyone with respect. She revealed that he often talks about books, history, politics, and films on set. She added that he discusses scenes with the director and actors before shooting and gives suggestions that make the performances more impactful.

Music and Audience Response

Music director Thaman composed the film’s chart-topping songs. Priyanka shared that Thaman created the first song, ‘Suvvi Suvvi’, early in the process and that she eagerly waited for fans to hear it. She expressed her happiness after seeing the overwhelming response from the audience.

Director Sujeeth and producers DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari have mounted OG on a grand scale under DVV Entertainment. The team promises a gripping mix of action, drama, and emotion.
