Odyssey Trailer Highlights a Grand Cinematic Vision Set During the Trojan War

Following blockbuster successes like Inception, Interstellar, Tenet, and Oppenheimer, Nolan returns with a visually stunning epic that will also see a Telugu release. The makers unveiled the Telugu trailer yesterday, instantly creating waves among moviegoers.

Inspired by the legendary Greek mythological epic, The Odyssey has been surrounded by extraordinary buzz since its filming began. Such is the anticipation that advance bookings were reportedly opened nearly a year ahead of release an unprecedented move that highlights Nolan’s immense global fanbase.

Set against the backdrop of the brutal Trojan War, the trailer introduces Matt Damon as the iconic Greek hero Odysseus. The story follows Odysseus and his men as they embark on a perilous journey back home after the war. Having already endured immense suffering, death, and destruction, their quest for reunion with their families proves to be as harrowing as the battlefield itself, filled with unforeseen dangers and trials.

The trailer showcases breathtaking visuals and a rich cinematic canvas, clearly reflecting Nolan’s grand vision. Anne Hathaway essays the role of Penelope, Odysseus’ devoted wife, while Tom Holland appears as his son, Telemachus.
