This year’s Sankranthi season witnessed several film releases, but only a handful managed to strike a chord with audiences. Among them was Anaganaga Oka Raju, a rural political comedy-drama starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary, directed by Maari.
The film has now made its OTT debut on Netflix, streaming from today. Notably, Anaganaga Oka Raju has received a pan-Indian digital release, with audio options available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, making it accessible to a wider audience across the country.
The movie arrives on OTT just four weeks after its theatrical release, a relatively short window that reflects the growing trend of quicker digital premieres. It will be interesting to see how the film fares among OTT viewers.
In addition to the lead pair, the film features an ensemble cast including Rao Ramesh, Tarak Ponnappa, Goparaju Ramana, Chammak Chandra, and Jhansi. The project is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya under Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer.
