Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, known for films like Love Story and Majili, is all set to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala this December. Sobhita, famous for her roles in Raman Raghav 2.0 and the Amazon Prime series Made in Heaven, will tie the knot with Chaitanya on December 4. The wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, and preparations are already in full swing.
Netflix Deal Rumors: A Rs 50 Crore Wedding Film?
Amid the excitement, rumors are circulating that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have sold the rights to their wedding film. Reports suggest that Netflix approached the couple to stream the film. Trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan claimed that the wedding film has been sold to Netflix for a whopping Rs 50 crore.
If this is true, Naga Chaitanya would be the second South Indian star to sell wedding film rights to Netflix. Earlier, Nayanthara sold the rights to her wedding, which was part of her documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale.

The news was first reported by Deccan Chronicle. A source mentioned that Netflix’s global reach in over 190 countries made it the top choice. Netflix’s extensive marketing strategies could also help promote the wedding as a grand celebration. “The event will be attended by top stars from Tollywood, Kollywood, and Bollywood, making it a must-watch,” the source added.
Awaiting Confirmation
So far, neither Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala, nor Nagarjuna has commented on the reports. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement regarding the Netflix deal.
A Traditional Telugu Wedding
The couple has decided to honor their roots with a traditional Telugu Brahmin wedding. According to sources, the ceremony will feature over eight hours of intricate rituals. An insider close to Sobhita revealed, “The wedding will be old-school, focusing on customs and traditions to reflect the beauty of a Telugu wedding.”
