Mrithyunjay Confirms February 2026 Release: What’s Next for Sree Vishnu’s Vishnu Vinyasam?

Sree Vishnu, who has been carefully balancing content-driven and commercial entertainers, is currently juggling multiple projects. One of his much-anticipated films, Mrithyunjay, has now officially locked its theatrical release date.

Touted to be a gripping crime thriller, Mrithyunjay is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran, with Reba Monica John playing a pivotal role. The makers today announced that the film will hit the big screens on February 27, 2026, unveiling an intriguing poster to mark the occasion. The project is being produced by Lightbox Media in association with Picture Perfect Entertainment, while Kaal Bhairava is composing the music.

While the announcement has excited fans, it has also sparked curiosity about the release plans of Sree Vishnu’s other film, Vishnu Vinyasam. The fun-filled entertainer, set against the backdrop of Ongole, was earlier announced for a February 2026 release as well.

Directed by debutant Maruthi Rao, Vishnu Vinyasam features Nayan Sarika as the female lead. With Mrithyunjay now occupying a late-February release slot, it remains to be seen whether the makers of Vishnu Vinyasam will stick to their original plan or opt for a postponement to avoid a clash.

An official clarification on Vishnu Vinyasam’s release date is eagerly awaited.
