Chiranjeevi Becomes First Indian to Receive UK Parliament Lifetime Achievement Award

On March 19, 2025, Megastar Chiranjeevi made history by becoming the first Indian celebrity to be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the British government. The prestigious award was presented at the House of Commons in London.

It recognized his over 40 years of outstanding contribution to Indian cinema and his philanthropic efforts through the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT). His trust has made a massive difference in healthcare and education sectors.

After receiving the award, Chiranjeevi shared an emotional message on social media. He said this honor motivates him to work with even greater passion. His younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, praised Chiranjeevi as a “father figure” and celebrated his inspiring journey from humble beginnings to international fame.

Ram Charan’s Wax Statue and RRR Concert Add to Mega Family’s UK Glory

Adding to the family’s celebration, Ram Charan will unveil his wax statue at Madame Tussauds London on May 9, 2025. In a unique honor, the statue will feature his pet dog, Rhyme, making them the first Indian celebrity-pet duo to be immortalized in wax, after Queen Elizabeth II’s corgi.

After London, the statues will be moved to Madame Tussauds Singapore, where Charan will join other Telugu stars like Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arjun. Just two days later, on May 11, Charan will attend a special live orchestral performance of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will perform MM Keeravani’s Oscar-winning score, celebrating the film’s cultural impact across the world. The evening will also feature a pre-show talk by Rajamouli and Keeravani, adding depth to the grand event.
