‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ is arriving earlier than you would have expected. The crime comedy caper is a September 13th release in theatres.
“The gang is back to intoxicate you with high doses of comedy. Bigger crimes. Higher stakes. Louder laughs. ‘Mathu Vadalara 2’ in cinemas on 13th September 2024 (sic),” Mythri Movie Makers, one of the banners behind the sequel, wrote on social media.
Sri Simha Koduri and Satya, the partners in crime, are the lead actors. Faria Abdullah of ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame is the heroine. Sunil and Vennela Kishore are playing prominent parts.
The release date poster hints at a riff on SHE Teams in Telangana. ‘HE Team’, standing for ‘High Emergency Team’, is hot on heels. Directed by Ritesh Rana and produced by the Chiranjeevi-Hemalatha duo on Clap Entertainment, the film is co-written by Teja R and Sai Somayajulu. Wingchun Anji is the action choreographer.
