Megastar Chiranjeevi has turned 70, and his birthday celebrations gave fans a special treat. On this grand occasion, the makers of his much-awaited 157th film with director Anil Ravipudi unveiled its official title, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, along with a stylish glimpse that instantly became the talk of the town.

Fans had been calling this project Mega 157 for months, and the official announcement finally ended the suspense. The makers locked the title with the tagline “Pandagaki Vasthunnaru” (Coming for the festival). They planned the film as a family entertainer and fixed a worldwide release for Sankranthi 2026.

Chiranjeevi’s Power-Packed Glimpse

The title glimpse delivers a visual feast for fans. It shows Chiranjeevi in a stylish black suit, oozing charisma in every frame. He lights a cigar, flicks it away with attitude, and walks through a fog-filled backdrop, creating a powerful impact. One highlight shot shows him striding confidently beside a horse, which instantly went viral.

The glimpse mixes remixed background scores from Chiranjeevi’s iconic films like Rowdy Alludu and triggers nostalgia among fans. Actor Venkatesh lends his voice for the title reveal, giving the teaser a surprising twist.

Film’s Concept and Cast

The title Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu directly honors Chiranjeevi’s birth name, Konidela Shankara Varaprasad, and pays tribute to his legacy. Director Anil Ravipudi, who consistently delivers commercial blockbusters, promises to present the Megastar in a lively, comic, and stylish avatar that highlights his trademark mannerisms.

The film features Nayanthara as the female lead in her third collaboration with Chiranjeevi. Sameer Reddy handles cinematography, Tammiraju edits the film, and AS Prakash designs the production. Writers S Krishna and G Adi Narayana shape the screenplay, while Bheems Ceciroleo composes the music.

Shooting Updates and Release

The team recently filmed important scenes in Alappuzha, Kerala, where Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara shot a romantic sequence and a wedding song on beautifully decorated houseboats. These visuals will add a fresh and vibrant charm to the movie.

Sahu Garapati produces the film under Shine Screens, while Sushmita Konidela produces it under Goldbox Entertainment.
