Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to return to the big screen with his next film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi. The project has already created strong buzz in the industry, especially after the announcement of Nayanthara as the female lead, reuniting with Chiranjeevi after Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
So far, the makers have confirmed an interesting lineup of supporting actors including VTV Ganesh, Catherine Tresa, Harshvardhan, and Revanth Bhimala (of Sankrathiki Vasthunnam fame).
The team kickstarted promotions on Dussehra with the release of the first song promo, Meesala Pilla, which received a positive response from fans. The full song is expected to drop later this month. Staying true to Anil Ravipudi’s style, the film promises a perfect blend of humor, family emotions, and drama — but this time, it also packs a strong antagonist.
The latest update reveals that Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has been roped in to play the main villain in the film. Shine Tom Chacko, who has previously appeared in Telugu films like Dasara, Devara, and Daaku Maharaaj, will reportedly bring a unique edge to the character. True to Ravipudi’s signature approach, the antagonist is expected to have a mix of intensity and entertainment, adding to the film’s overall appeal.
Produced jointly by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is gearing up for a Sankranti 2026 release. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, who is known for his energetic and massy soundtracks.
With an impressive cast, a powerful antagonist, and Anil Ravipudi’s trademark storytelling, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of 2026.
