‘Maa Oori Polimera’ was released in 2021 on Aha, the OTT platform. Its success goaded director Anil Vishwanath to make ‘Polimera 2’, which arrived at the cinemas in November of 2023. And now, ‘Polimera 3’ has been cemented by the same director.
The project was announced today with essentially the same set of leading actors. Satyam Rajesh and Dr Kamakshi Bhaskarla are back. The versatile Getup Srinu is back. Rakendu Mouli is back.
Produced by Vamsi Nandipati, the film also features Baladitya. “A new phase of haunting narrative begins. We are excited to announce #Polimera3, part of #Polimera franchise! Script Work Completed & Pre-Production Begins! #Polimera3Loading – The Breathtaking Horror Franchise Moves to the Next Level (sic),” Nandipati tweeted on July 10th.
The film is expected to go on the floors in September or October. It is planned for an early 2025 release.
