Mahindra XUV 7XO Launched in India at Rs 13.66 Lakh (Ex-Showroom)

Mahindra has officially launched the XUV 7XO in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced as the successor to the XUV700, the new SUV follows Mahindra’s updated naming strategy, similar to the XUV300 being rebranded as the XUV 3XO.

While the overall silhouette remains familiar, the XUV 7XO receives noticeable design updates, added features, and enhanced safety technology. Bookings opened last month with a token amount of Rs 21,000, and test drives will begin from January 8. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from January 14, prioritising customers who pre-booked the vehicle.

Design Updates

The Mahindra XUV 7XO retains the proven stance of the XUV700 while offering a refreshed appearance.

Redesigned front fascia with updated LED DRLs and headlamps

New 19-inch alloy wheel design on the sides with flush door handles
Updated rear bumper and new LED tail lamp design
New exterior colour options
Interior refreshed with a beige and tan cabin theme

The SUV is available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, with the earlier 5-seater layout no longer on offer.

The XUV 7XO continues with the same engine lineup as its predecessor.

Mahindra has also worked extensively on improving ride comfort. The XUV 7XO features the Davinci Damper system, paired with a McPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension with advanced hydraulic rebound stoppers.

Carrying forward the legacy of the XUV500 and XUV700, the XUV 7XO is loaded with premium features, including a 540-degree camera system, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Vision & Atmos, triple 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster, infotainment and passenger screen, panoramic sunroof, front and rear ventilated seats, power-adjustable driver and co-driver seats with Boss Mode, auto-dimming IRVM and memory-function ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, and front and rear wireless charging with active cooling.

Safety

Safety remains a major highlight of the XUV 7XO. Built on a platform that previously achieved a 5-star safety rating, the SUV now gets enhanced protection features such as updated Level-2 ADAS with additional functions, six airbags, ESP, EBD, hill descent control, TPMS, electronic parking brake and more.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in six variants: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L.

Petrol prices start at Rs 13.66 lakh
Diesel prices begin at Rs 14.96 lakh
Top-end diesel AWD AX7L MT is priced at Rs 24.92 lakh
