A Freak Event Shakes an Entire Village

Rana Daggubati presents Kothapallilo Okappudu, which explores the life of a small village driven by age-old beliefs and traditions. A strange and shocking incident forces the villagers to question their faith, religious practices, and superstitions. What begins as a light-hearted love story soon transforms into something much deeper, blending humour with mystery and social reflection.

Manoj Chandra’s Quirky Journey in the Village

Manoj Chandra plays Rama Krishna, a dance organiser who deeply loves Savitri, a spirited local girl. Their playful romance brings charm to the story. But everything changes when Savitri tells him to meet her near a haystack. Rama Krishna arrives excitedly, but what happens next throws his life, and the whole village, into chaos. The incident takes him through a rollercoaster of confusion, comedy, and the unknown.

Strong Supporting Cast & Debut Performances

Veteran actors like Benerjee, Babu Mohan, Bongu Satti, Phani, and Premsagar bring depth and humour to the rural world with their quirky portrayals.

Debut Director Makes a Bold Move

Praveena Paruchuri makes her directorial debut with this film after winning praise as a producer of C/o Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. She not only directed the film but also co-produced it with Gopalakrishna Paruchuri under the Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts banner. Her bold storytelling and creative choices bring a fresh energy to the screen.

Visually Appealing and Musically Engaging

Varun Unni created the intense background score that adds suspense and emotion, while Mani Sharma composed catchy songs. Kiran R, who also serves as the creative director, shaped the film with sharp editing. Production designers Jitendra Mourya and Vishal Gyanchandani crafted the village atmosphere with authenticity and detail.
