By Saturday, Khaleja earned over $106,000 in the U.S., setting a new record for Indian re-releases. This marks the first time any Indian re-release crossed the $100K milestone in North America. Previously, Gabbar Singh held the top spot with $66.1K, followed by Indra at $65.7K and Murari at $60.6K. Mahesh Babu’s massive fan base in the U.S. and his steady success at the box office helped him achieve this new milestone.

Global Box Office: Excellent Start for Re-release

Alongside its U.S. triumph, Khaleja also performed strongly worldwide. In India, the film grossed around Rs 5.75 crore on its re-release day. Fans drove this success by booking over Rs 3 crore worth of tickets in advance, and walk-in audiences added more with strong spot bookings. Overseas viewers, especially in the U.S., contributed nearly Rs 1 crore, taking the total worldwide opening to approximately Rs 6.75 crore. Among Indian re-release titles, Khaleja now stands as the third highest opener, behind only Ghilli (Rs 7.75 crore) and Gabbar Singh (Rs 7+ crore).
