Karthi's 29th movie to be a period magnum opus

Dream Warrior Pictures, which is known for producing the Telugu film ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham’, has announced a new movie with Karthi as the hero. The combination of actor Karthi and producers SR Prakash Babu-SR Prabhu duo has previously seen ‘Khakee’, ‘Khaidi’, ‘Sulthan’, ‘Kaashmora’ and ‘Japan’.

Their next film is a period drama to be made on a “grand scale”. Written and directed by Tamizh, the film is touted to be Karthi’s magnum opus also produced by Ishan Saksena, Sunil Shah, and Raja Subramanian.

“A new chapter begins with #Karthi29! We’re excited to bring this special film to life, starring the incredible Karthi! More surprises await! (sic),” the makers wrote on social media.

Karthi awaits the release of ‘Sathyam Sundaram’, the Telugu-dubbed version of ‘Meiyazhagan’ (Tamil). The comedy-drama, brimming with bromance, will arrive at the cinemas on September 28th (a day after Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’). It is directed by C Prem Kumar.
